There are different lashes and looks that can be achieved. I apply each lash by separating your eyelashes with my left hand using tweezers. Then, with my right hand, I apply a silk eyelash or a hand made (at that moment) volume fan to one lash at a time with tweezers. You keep your eyes close the whole time. Most clients sleep or listen to music. Some clients like to catch up and talk. All photos are my work.
Silk Lashes are applied to your lashes 1 per lash. Overall look depends on 3 things. First, how many lashes you have. I can change the direction to to attempt to hide gaps but this isn't the right service if you have holes or gaps. Or if you want a lot thicker you may need more lashes placed on. Second, The type of lashes I use. I have two thickness options. You can see below some are finer/lighter and some are darker and bold. Third. The curl and the shape of the lashes. I go based on your nat

Hybrid lashes are the most popular. If you like a look but don't have healthy enough lashes then you get bumped to full volume. Hybrid means a volume fan and classic lashes. Fans give different looks based on how wide they are made , The other factor is the thickness/darkness. These can look more dramatic than full volume with the right natural lashes. This gives a softer look and a fluffier look compared to classic. It can extend your eye more for a cat eye look. It also covers gaps and holes.

Volume lashes. More than one lash per natural lash. 5:1 ratio (example) Volume Lashes can be soft or bold. Weak lashes that can not support classic may need all volume fans. The fans are customizable and hand made seconds before being placed on your eye. Volume fans are light weight and fluffy. They don't open back up properly if they get mascara all over them.

Lashes are somewhat high maintenance. Its recommended to keep your lashes dry for 24 hours so please shower and wash your face prior to getting your lashes done. You have to wash your lashes, most people think the less they touch them the longer they will last but that's not the case. You need nice clean healthy lashes and a healthy eyelid. You will always have a lash wand on hand. Do not use mascara on ur lashes. Please tell me if that's the look you want. Keep in mind more dramatic looks make you feel like you have to match them with a full face of makeup everyday.
Your going to be laying down with your eyes closed for hours. Its going to be hard to be detached from hour phone for some. Please don't drink caffeine it causes eyelids to flutter. It also increases the need to use the restroom. I recommend bringing headphones if you want to listen to music or a podcast. You can also listen to my relaxing spa music that will be playing in the room.
Lash extensions require a lash conditioner if you are wearing them long term.
If lashes are applied correctly you don't need to take breaks.
Lash cycles.. lets talk about lash cycles and fills. So your lashes regenerate every 6-8 weeks. during that time you will have 3 phases growing. baby hair (I don't lash) teenagers and adults. Follow me here... Your eyelashes are not the same and don't shed mirrored. that means when you come in for a fill ... the location of a long lash is now a baby growing in so it may look a little different from the original full set or the other eye. The thickness may differ but is easier to balance with volume fans. During the fills I remove any lashes that are grown out and replace them along with any lashes that are grown enough to now be lashed. I do my best to balance the eyes during fills.
AFTERCARE
Be mindful of heat from fires and ovens. Be mindful of steam from pots and hot tubs.
Your glue is oil resistant so you can use any facial products or cleansers. I still don't recommend drenching them with oil. This glue has amazing retention. Its also great for athletes and swimmers who struggle with retention with other glues.
Sleep gently the first few days and try to never sleep with your lashes pressed into the pillow. Some clients use travel pillows to sleep and that helps.
Rinse lashes and Brush lashes everyday. Wash lashes at lease 3 times a week.
Don't touch them with our fingers or pull them.
WHAT A ALLERGIC REACTION LOOKS LIKE
Lets not wait till its happening to google this. Your eyes will start out itchy maybe watery. The eyelid becomes swolen. The eyelid can also appear red/pink/raw and the skin can start flaking off. In Server cases your eye will produce mucus like substance like goopy stuff and be super swollen. If you think your experiencing any symptoms please let me know. If its mild and you want to keep your lashes you can go to the eye doctor and get drops for contact dermatitis. If it is very bad I recommend removing them. You can develop a reaction later down the road as you become more exposed to the glue for a greater time. If not the first time iv seen it about 6-9 moths down the road. But it could happen 3 years later. Just be aware of the warning signs. Once you become allergic that's that! Do not try to get lashes applied again your reaction will be 5x as worse. I give free removals to anyone who has a reaction but a refund for the service will not be given. I also recommend a removal for most reactions. Reactions can happen from the glue but you could also get a infection from not washing your lashes. There's also a thing called lash mites too please just keep them clean!
